Treking is for the young, old and everyone in between. Star Trek broke all the records for TV with the first interracial kiss, political satires, black and white versus white and black, and investigated hundreds of other questions of humanity and how to deal with those problems.
The situations they got into always seemed hopeless, but the crews of the Enterprise always came through with an eloquent, simple, why didn't I think of that ending. It's hard to believe how long the Star Trek series has entertained all of us.
There is still hope that Captain Kirk will still be resurrected for the next Star Trek Movie... a few situps and he'll be ready for the next thought provoking movie and with a shave Mr. Spock will be ready too.
You don't have to be a totally devoted Trekkie to have a Star-Trek-Fundraising event. It's just that the Mall Of The World has over 100 books, 62 sound tracks and over 590 Star Trek movie selections. Everything from the original TV series to the last motion picture made and everything in between. Yes, that's a Warp Drive Fundraising Mall, a little ahead of it's time just like the Star Trek series.
Can you imagine going anywhere and finding 99.99% of all the Star Trek books, movies and music all in one place? So why not have a Star-Trek-Fundraising event? Who knows, maybe someone will want a 50 inch Panasonic LCD, DPTV with a theater surround sound system that will give them a deep space experience in their own home and help your group make money too.
Now suppose you're a real Trekie with your own website. Someone visits your site, and with a little cut and paste you can send them through the transporter to your Star-Trek-Fundraising-Mall.
